Shared Intellectual Property

Metacities considers using different methods of sharing intellectual property within the storyworld. We research blockchain and smart contracts as a tool to automate the complex interrelations of shared IP. The project is based on PhD Research in the University of Athens and the team is very cautious of the environmental, social, commercial, legal and artistic issues that arise from crypto and especially Ethereum NFTs. We are looking into off and on-chain alternatives to fund and manage IP.
