Metacities A.I. Poster Wins Competition
A couple of months ago the municipality of Athens declared a competition for an art exhibition. Artists and researchers were asked to create posters of Athens in the future imagining the future of the city.
The metacities creative team could not miss this opportunity being so close to what we do.
We combined A.I. image generated pictures of bioluminescent fashion clothes and organic buildings, with photos of the acropolis at dawn. The idea was to create a fashion show in the future with an Augmented reality Medusa flying in the sky.
This week we are happy to announce that the poster was selected for the exhibition which will take place on the streets near the parliament in the following months. It will also be followed by a print version of the 40 selected posters.
Working with A.I. and trying to make a specific image composition showed us the true limitation of the software at its current state. However new updates and modifications are being developed which allow for adding specific input images and then applying A.I. enhancements. This is really a huge breakthrough which can elevate the A.I. image tools to a whole different level of functionality.
The modification is called Dreambooth.
